Michael Keaton Unfazed by 'Batgirl' Cancellation: 'Big Fun Check'
Michael Keaton recently shared his thoughts on the cancellation of the Warner Bros. film Batgirl , and his reaction was as nonchalant as it gets. In an interview with GQ, Keaton, who was set to reprise his iconic role as Batman in the film, revealed that the shelving of Batgirl didn’t bother him much. “I didn’t care one way or another. Big, fun, nice check,” Keaton said when asked about his feelings on the film’s cancellation. He expressed his support for the directors and hoped for their future success, but made it clear that he wasn’t personally troubled by the shelving of the film. “I like those boys. They’re nice guys,” Keaton said, adding that he felt for them but was otherwise unaffected.
