Authorities launched a search-and-rescue operation around 8 a.m. when he was reported missing, and his body was later recovered from the lake about an hour after the search began. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner confirmed Lazar's€™s death at 10:24 a.m. on the same day.
CrossFit CEO Don Faul has stated that the organization had a safety plan in place, with safety personnel present on-site.
