Trene Walls, a 39-year-old woman, became the victim of a fatal shooting while traveling northbound on the interstate. Police reported that another vehicle pulled alongside Walls' car and opened fire, resulting in her death at the scene. Walls was traveling alone, and her death marks a heartbreaking addition to the series of violent incidents that plagued the city that evening.
Adding to the somber events, a third shooting occurred on Glen Oaks Drive, but details on this incident remain sparse as investigations are still ongoing.
