AEW All Out 2024: A Look at the Explosive Match Card and Anticipated Showdowns

As we approach AEW All Out 2024, excitement is building for what promises to be an unforgettable night of wrestling action. This year's All Out will be held at the NOW Arena in Chicago, marking its return to the venue for the first time since 2022. Despite having only two weeks of television to promote the event, AEW has managed to put together a card that's sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

The event will feature eight thrilling matches, including five title bouts. One of the most anticipated matches is between Mercedes Mone and Hikaru Shida for the AEW TBS Championship. Mone, who has remained undefeated since her AEW debut in March, is looking to make history by becoming the first woman in AEW to hold both major women's titles. Shida, who pushed Mone to her limits in their previous encounter, will be aiming to seize this opportunity for redemption.

Will Ospreay will defend his AEW International Championship against PAC, the inaugural holder of the belt and one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions. PAC has been waiting for this title shot since July, and it’s expected to be a high-flying, action-packed clash. Additionally, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta, the other members of the AEW World Trios Champions, will challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championships.

The Elite will also have a busy night, with Kazuchika Okada defending his AEW Continental Championship in a four-way match against Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, and Konosuke Takeshita. This match was set up after these competitors qualified in a September 6 episode of "Collision."

Jack Perry, the AEW TNT Champion, will be facing Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship. This bout is particularly significant as Danielson has hinted that his career could be nearing its end. With the potential for Danielson's full-time career to be on the line, this match could mark a pivotal moment in AEW history, especially since Perry was present when Danielson debuted in AEW three years ago.

In terms of grudge matches, the night will be highlighted by some of the most intense and brutal encounters in AEW history. MJF and Daniel Garcia will renew their bitter rivalry in a match fueled by personal vendettas. Meanwhile, Willow Nightingale will square off against Kris Statlander in a Chicago Street Fight. Though the match will no longer be for Nightingale’s CMLL World Women’s Championship due to the stipulation, it's bound to be a fierce contest.

The most extreme bout of the night will be an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage match between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. Following a feud that has escalated to unprecedented levels, including the destruction of Strickland's childhood home, this match will not be recognized officially by AEW but is expected to be a brutal spectacle.

With such a stacked card, AEW All Out 2024 is shaping up to be a historic event filled with unforgettable moments and intense matches. Be sure not to miss what promises to be a night of high-stakes drama and wrestling excellence.
