He shared that he had been experiencing severe swelling and a rash on his leg, coupled with an episode of memory loss—an unusual and concerning development for the usually sharp and active entrepreneur. “Day three here at St. Luke's Hospital. They're taking great care of me, trying to figure out why I have this massive swelling in my leg with all this red rash all over it,” McIngvale explained while showing the rash on his leg. He also recounted how, for the first time in his life, he missed his exit while driving to work, an incident that left him disoriented.
