Andrew revealed he’s been trying his luck with BOTB for quite some time, and a previous manager winning had given him the confidence to keep playing. When the notification popped up declaring him the winner, he could hardly believe it, even struggling to sleep when he got home after his shift. Christian Williams, BOTB’s presenter, who called Andrew to share the life-changing news, remarked on Andrew’s surprise, noting how much the cash alternative seemed to appeal to him. He found it heartwarming that Andrew wants to give back to his parents as part of his plans with the winnings.
