Rugby Star Scott Hastings' Wife, Jenny, Missing After Swim in Firth of Forth
Scott Hastings, the renowned former Scottish rugby player, and his family are facing an incredibly difficult time as Jenny Hastings, Scott’s wife, has been reported missing after a swim in Wardie Bay, Edinburgh. The news has deeply shaken the community, as Jenny, who loved the water, went for a swim in the Firth of Forth on Tuesday and failed to return.
Emergency services were alerted by a "report of concern" at around 2:45 pm that day. Despite the quick response, which included coastguard rescue teams, lifeboats, a helicopter, and other nearby vessels, the search concluded without any findings and was called off later that evening at 8:20 pm. Meanwhile, Police Scotland has continued their investigation, classifying Jenny’s disappearance as a "high-risk missing person case."
