The game includes around 140 chests scattered across the map, but don’t underestimate the value of vendor items in boosting your abilities. And while collecting loot, remember that some chests may look difficult or even impossible to reach. Don’t fret! Sometimes, these chests become accessible later, or they may lead to alternative quests.
"Veilguard" also lets you respec all skill points at no cost, which gives incredible flexibility. You can experiment with different builds for yourself and your companions, adapting them to match team dynamics or handle new challenges. This is a game-changer, as it allows you to adjust your party as the story progresses without being locked into a single approach.
The importance of matching skill effects cannot be overstated. Many encounters involve pairing characters with complementary abilities; for example, one party member applies a debuff, while another uses a skill to trigger the effect for maximum damage. Finding this synergy among your companions can greatly enhance your battle effectiveness.

Bosses might be too challenging at certain levels, so stepping back, leveling up, and returning later can prevent battles from becoming lengthy slogs. Finally, take the time to explore the Lighthouse, a location offering some of the best character interactions in the game. Stop by periodically for conversations with your teammates or even dialogue between them, enriching the narrative and providing unexpected depth to your allies. These interactions bring an extra layer of connection to your companions that Dragon Age fans will especially appreciate.
