Sydney’s iconic New Year’s Day festival, Field Day, has just announced an incredible lineup for 2025, and this year, it’s going all-in on dance music. With international acts like Chase & Status, RL Grime, horsegiirL, and Pendulum leading the charge, Field Day is setting the stage for an unforgettable start to the year.
Field Day organizers have made the decision to go "100% dance" this year, creating a lineup filled with house, techno, drum and bass, and electronic beats. The festival, held at The Domain, has long been a favorite for those wanting to celebrate the new year in style. But in 2025, they’re turning up the energy even more, with some of the world’s best electronic music acts to get everyone moving.

Chase & Status, the British duo known for their massive hits like "Pieces" and "Against All Odds," will be headlining. Alongside them, you’ll find RL Grime, the master of trap and bass, and Germany’s viral sensation horsegiirL, known for her unique and electrifying performances. Fans can also look forward to a back-to-back DJ set from Pendulum and Luude, which promises to be one of the highlights of the festival.
This year’s focus on electronic music comes with a nod to the festival's roots and an effort to keep the party affordable for fans. With ticket prices starting at $50 less than last year, Field Day aims to make it easier for people to come together, dance, and enjoy a positive start to the new year. First-release tickets are set to go on sale on October 24, starting at $142 plus booking fees.
