Fortnite Chapter 6 Kicks Off with New Map, Features, and Epic Concert Event!
Fortnite's current season, "Remix," has been a huge success, but all good things must come to an end. Fans of the game are gearing up for an exciting transition as Chapter 5 wraps up and Chapter 6, Season 1 takes over. The final moments of the "Remix" season will culminate in the much-anticipated event known as The Finale, which will feature some of the biggest names in music, including Snoop Dogg, Juice WRLD, Eminem, and Ice Spice.
So, when exactly will Fortnite's Season Remix come to a close and Chapter 6 kick off? The official end time for Chapter 5 and the current season is set for 11 p.m. PT / 2 a.m. ET on Saturday, November 30th, transitioning into Sunday, December 1st. However, there's a chance that the season will wrap up immediately after the finale event. Given that the event lasts about 20 minutes, it's likely that the servers will go down shortly after it concludes. This could mean that Fortnite’s servers will be offline for a bit, but don't worry! Chapter 6 is expected to go live early on Sunday morning, so you can get back into the action right after it updates.

The big event, "The Finale," marks a significant point in Fortnite history, as it features a Juice WRLD concert. For those unfamiliar, Juice WRLD, whose real name was Jarad Higgins, passed away in 2019, but his legacy lives on through his music, including a new track that will make its debut during the concert. A new Snoop Dogg single, “Another Part of Me,” will also be featured, and fans are thrilled to experience these special performances. If you miss out on the live event, don’t worry—Fortnite will run an encore performance later in the day.
As we say goodbye to Chapter 5, Fortnite players can look forward to Chapter 6 bringing a whole new set of features and exciting changes. This upcoming season, titled "鬼 Hunters" (Demon Hunters), introduces an Asian and anime-inspired theme, complete with cherry blossoms, traditional Japanese markets, and mystical creatures straight out of Studio Ghibli films. Expect to encounter Yokai demons, Titans, and even some legendary creatures like King Kong and Godzilla. A massive, floating turtle will also join the roster of new additions—adorable and mobile across the map!
One of the most exciting changes in Chapter 6 is the introduction of new movement mechanics, including wall-running and rolling, adding a whole new layer of parkour-style gameplay. These features will give players more freedom and agility when navigating the new map, making it one of the most dynamic Fortnite seasons yet.
For those nostalgic for the past, Epic Games will also bring back the original Fortnite map in a new mode that will go live on December 6th. This mode lets players battle it out on classic locations with the game’s original loot, offering a refreshing blast from the past.
