The 40-year-old mother couldn’t believe her good fortune when she discovered her massive win more than two weeks after purchasing her ticket. It wasn’t until over two weeks later that she decided to have one of her sons check the ticket using Loto-Québec’s mobile app. When the app revealed the substantial amount, he was the first to notice. “I think something’s wrong... Come look!” he called out to his mom. At first, Karine thought it might be a mistake, unsure whether the app had malfunctioned.
