Trump Advisor Alex Bruesewitz Collapses on Stage at New York Gala
It was a shocking moment at the 112th Annual New York Young Republican Club Gala when Alex Bruesewitz, a key strategist behind Donald Trump's 2024 campaign, collapsed in the middle of his speech. Bruesewitz, 27, was delivering remarks on Sunday night at the event, which featured prominent figures like Steve Bannon and Dan Scavino. As he spoke to the crowd, including British politician Nigel Farage, Bruesewitz appeared to suddenly lose control of his speech. He began slurring his words, and at one point, he openly admitted, “I’m forgetting my words.”
Those were the last words Bruesewitz managed to utter before he toppled from the podium in front of the stunned audience. Immediately, people rushed to his side, and the crowd gasped in disbelief. The incident left attendees visibly shaken, and medical assistance was quickly called backstage.

While the exact cause of his collapse is still unclear, conservative influencer Jack Posobiec, who was present at the event, later confirmed that he spoke with Bruesewitz backstage. Posobiec described the situation as a "fainting spell," though no official medical update has been provided at the time.
Alex Bruesewitz is well-known for his work as the CEO of X Strategies and his crucial role in Trump’s 2024 campaign. He was brought on board to help with youth outreach and communications, a task in which he gained significant praise. Many credit Bruesewitz with helping to boost Trump’s appeal among younger voters, turning him into a "cool" figure in their eyes through his savvy use of social media and podcasts.
Before the collapse, Bruesewitz was delivering his speech alongside notable figures like Bannon, who followed up with a fiery speech condemning the "Biden regime." Bruesewitz had also received praise earlier in the event, with recorded messages from Trump acknowledging his efforts in the campaign.
In his biography, Bruesewitz is described as a strong advocate for the America First movement and a fierce critic of Republicans who oppose Trump. He has been instrumental in promoting Trump’s values, especially in connecting with the podcasting community, which Bruesewitz sees as an essential link to younger, disaffected voters. He has also worked to bring Trump’s media presence to new platforms, expanding his reach to the millions of young people who follow independent entertainers and influencers like Joe Rogan and Logan Paul.
Despite the scare at the gala, it seems Bruesewitz is recovering, with reports indicating that he received medical attention following the fall. The incident, however, has certainly left a mark on what was supposed to be a celebratory evening for the New York Republican crowd. As of now, we hope for Bruesewitz’s swift recovery and look forward to any updates on his health.
