Black Sabbath Presale Tickets Vanish in Minutes as Fans Rush for Villa Park Gig
Wow, what a frenzy! Black Sabbath fans went absolutely wild this morning, February 11, as tens of thousands of people flooded Ticketmaster, hoping to secure their spot at the legendary band’s final show, Back to the Beginning . The gig, set for July 5, 2025, at Birmingham’s Villa Park, is already proving to be one of the hottest tickets in town.
Ozzy Osbourne himself dropped a link to the artist presale last night, sending fans into a ticket-buying frenzy. By 10 AM, when the presale officially started, some fans found themselves deep in the queue—20,000th in line if they were lucky. Others, who joined mere moments later, were pushed back to nearly 40,000th. That just goes to show the sheer demand for this historic event.

And just like that—within 40 minutes—all available presale tickets were completely gone. Priced at £197.50 and up, these tickets were snapped up faster than you could say Paranoid . Villa Park can hold around 40,000 people, but this presale only had a limited allocation, meaning there’s still hope for those who missed out today. More presales are on the way, including one exclusively for O2 Priority customers happening tomorrow, February 12.
Among those caught up in the ticket chaos was Jason Smith, who was determined to get seats for his mum, Coz, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment. He managed to get through the queue early and secure two tickets, bringing him to tears as he shared the good news with his mum. Meanwhile, Siobhan Davis, a self-proclaimed “rocker nurse” from South Wales, wasn’t so lucky. She had high hopes of seeing Ozzy live one last time but didn’t make the cut. Now, she’s crossing her fingers for the upcoming O2 Priority presale or the general sale on Friday, February 14.
Jessica Read was another fan who missed out, despite being 7,153rd in line. Frustrated, she pointed out that even with certain tickets held back for O2 Priority and Live Nation, the speed at which they sold out seemed unbelievable.
For those still hoping to score tickets, tomorrow’s O2 Priority presale is the next big opportunity, followed by more presales throughout the week and the general sale on Friday. Given how fast these tickets are going, you’d better be ready to jump in the queue the second sales go live.
It’s clear—this show is going to be legendary. If you’re still trying to get tickets, good luck! You’re going to need it.
