Daniel Bisogno, Beloved Mexican TV Host, Passes Away at 51
The entertainment world is mourning the loss of Daniel Bisogno, a beloved Mexican TV host, actor, and comedian, who passed away at the age of 51. After weeks of hospitalization due to serious health complications, the news was confirmed by his longtime colleague and mentor, Pati Chapoy, who shared a heartfelt message on social media: “It is with immense sadness that I inform you that Daniel Bisogno has passed away.”
Bisogno, affectionately known as "El Muñe," had been a fixture on Ventaneando since the 1990s. His sharp wit, unapologetic humor, and fearless commentary made him one of Mexico’s most well-known television personalities. Fans and colleagues alike are now grieving the loss of a man who brought laughter and entertainment to millions.
A Battle with Health Complications
In recent months, Bisogno had been facing severe health challenges that ultimately led to his passing. His battle began with a ruptured varicose vein in May 2023, followed by a liver transplant in 2024. Unfortunately, complications arose when a resistant bacterial infection developed in his bile ducts. His brother, Alejandro Bisogno, explained how the infection worsened despite medical efforts: “The bacteria kept mutating, becoming stronger with each round of antibiotics.”

Despite receiving intensive care and awaiting another liver and kidney transplant, his health continued to deteriorate. His condition became critical in early 2025, leading to his untimely death on February 20.
