Once the paperwork is in order, couples can choose from various locations where different justices of the peace will be performing the ceremonies. For example, Judge Andrew González will be officiating at the Weslaco courthouse, while Judge Jaime Jerry Muñoz will be hosting ceremonies at the Pharr One – French Garden from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Other judges, such as Charlie Espinoza and Jason Peña, will be available in Edinburg and Elsa, Texas, respectively. Appointments are required, so couples need to call ahead to reserve their spot.
