Jack White's Third Man Records Pops Up in Paris for a Weekend of Music and Vinyl
Alright, music lovers, if you're anywhere near Paris this weekend, you’re in for a treat! Jack White’s legendary Third Man Records is bringing its unmistakable brand of vinyl, merch, and rock 'n' roll energy to the City of Light with a special pop-up store. And the timing couldn’t be more perfect—White himself is performing at La Cigale on the 21st and at Le Trianon on the 22nd and 23rd.
Now, if you’re familiar with Third Man Records, you know this is more than just a record label. It’s a full-blown experience. Normally, you’d have to visit Nashville, Detroit, or London to get your hands on their exclusive vinyl, unique turntables, or those signature yellow guitar pedals. But for three days only, fans in Paris get to dive into this world without booking a plane ticket.

What makes this pop-up extra exciting is the lineup of events they have planned. We’re talking daily DJ sets, live pedal demos by guest guitarists, and a few surprises that, knowing Jack White, could be anything from a spontaneous performance to an unexpected collaboration. And while Third Man is known for pressing records from artists like The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and The Dead Weather, the label also showcases newer names like Hotline TNT, Sheer Mag, and The Belair Lip Bombs. So, if you’re into discovering fresh talent, this is the place to be.
But why Paris? Well, Third Man’s team explains that since their London store opened in 2021, they’ve experimented with pop-ups across the UK, bringing their brand to fans who can’t always make the trip. And with France being one of the first countries to truly embrace The White Stripes, it only made sense to bring the experience here—especially with Jack performing in town.
The design of Third Man stores has always been a standout feature, with their signature black-and-yellow color scheme. For this pop-up, they’ve found a way to blend that aesthetic with a nod to the French flag, incorporating blue, white, and red into the space. It’s little details like this that make Third Man more than just a record store—it’s a cultural statement.
So, is this a test run for a permanent Paris location? Maybe! The team isn’t ruling anything out. But for now, if you’re in the city and love vinyl, rock music, or just cool, immersive experiences, head to 35 rue Condorcet in the 9th arrondissement. The store is open from 9 AM to 5 PM, February 21st through 23rd. Who knows? You might even spot a special guest while you're there.
