This event is bringing an incredible lineup of features, including legendary raids, new avatar items, and the long-awaited debut of exclusive music composed by Junichi Masuda himself! If you’re excited about legendary Pokémon, timed research, and awesome bonuses, then this event is for you. First up, let’s talk about the music. Pokémon GO Tour: Unova will feature brand-new tracks inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. Whether you're walking around, catching Pokémon, or battling in raids, this music will immerse you in the Unova experience like never before.
Now, for one of the biggest decisions in this event—choosing between Reshiram and Zekrom ! During the global event, players will have the opportunity to pick between two event badges: Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom) . Your choice will affect your Special Research rewards and bonuses. If you go with Reshiram, you’ll get Reshiram-themed research, while Zekrom fans will receive Zekrom-themed rewards. Plus, all Kyurem encounters after defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem in five-star raids will know the Charged Attack Glaciate!

For Trainers attending the in-person events in New Taipei City or Los Angeles, you won’t need to select a badge—every Kyurem encounter will come with the exclusive attack!
Speaking of avatar items, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova is offering some fantastic new collectibles. Every Trainer will be able to unlock the GO Tour 2025 Tee as a free reward, and those upgrading to the Tour Pass Deluxe can get the Kyurem Helmet! Other avatar items, including Black Kyurem Wings and the White Kyurem Backpack , will be available for purchase in the in-game shop starting February 24. And let’s not forget the Shiny Meloetta Tee , which you can earn through the new Masterwork Research!
If you want to enhance your experience, check out the Road to Unova event add-ons. The Raids add-on gives you raid-themed bonuses and the Black and White Joggers avatar item, while the Hatch add-on offers egg-hatching bonuses, special Pokémon encounters, and the Black and White Hoodie. These add-ons come with exclusive Timed Research tasks, so you can maximize your rewards!
For those participating in raids, here’s a heads-up: the remote raid limit is increasing to 20 until February 28 , and it will be completely removed during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova!
