Hey everyone, if you’re in midwestern Ontario, listen up—there’s been a change in recycling collection schedules thanks to this massive snowstorm hitting the region. Bluewater Recycling Association has announced some delays and cancellations that you’ll want to take note of.

So here’s the deal: If you’re in Goderich , your regular Monday recycling pickup has now been pushed to Wednesday . That’s just a two-day delay, but still, something to keep in mind.

For residents of the Municipality of Bluewater , things are a little different. The weekly collection has been completely canceled for this week. However, if you’re on a bi-weekly pickup schedule, you’ll still get your recycling collected—but now on Tuesday instead .

Moving over to West Perth , well… I’ve got bad news. Recycling collection has been entirely canceled this week. No rescheduled date, so you’ll have to wait until your next regular pickup.

And if you’re in North Perth , your collection has been delayed too, but you won’t have to wait too long—it’s now scheduled for February 22 .

This snowstorm has been causing a lot of disruptions across the region, with school bus cancellations and road closures piling up as well. If you rely on recycling collection, make sure you mark your calendar with these changes so you’re not left with overflowing bins.
