Marvel Rivals Version 20250314 Brings Key Balance Changes

Alright, Marvel Rivals fans, it’s time to gear up for another update! Version 20250314 is dropping soon, and with it comes a handful of balance changes that will tweak the way some of our favorite heroes play. While it’s not a major overhaul, a few important adjustments are coming to keep the game balanced and competitive. If you main Human Torch, Iron Man, or Cloak & Dagger, you’ll want to pay close attention!

First up, Human Torch is getting some notable buffs. His Fire Cluster projectile speed is increasing from 120 m/s to 150 m/s, and the projectile count is going from 12 to 14. That means more firepower and faster attacks. But that’s not all—his Supernova energy cost is increasing from 3400 to 4000, making it slightly harder to spam. To balance that out, the activation wave damage is getting a boost from 70 to 80, and Flame Tornado’s damage per second is jumping from 100 to 120. If you play Human Torch, this means more offensive potential, but you’ll have to be a bit more strategic with your Supernova usage.

Now, let’s talk about Iron Man. He’s seeing a mix of nerfs and buffs to keep things balanced. His Repulsor Blast direct hit damage is decreasing across the board—stage one and two are dropping from 55 to 40, while stage three goes from 65 to 50. However, his spell field damage is increasing, meaning area-of-effect attacks will be more effective. Spell field damage is rising from 35 to 50 in lower stages and from 40 to 60 in stage three. Even with these changes, Iron Man remains a powerful hero, but players will need to adjust their strategies to maximize his effectiveness.

Finally, we have Cloak & Dagger. Their healing abilities are getting a slight rework. The Lightforce Dagger’s healing effect on allies is increasing from 10 to 16, making it more viable as a support ability. However, the spell field healing generated by the hit is being reduced from 18 to 16. These tweaks make Cloak & Dagger a bit more effective in healing teammates while keeping the overall healing output balanced.

If any of these heroes are your mains, you’ll want to take note of these changes and adjust your playstyle accordingly. Human Torch is definitely seeing buffs, but Iron Man’s adjustments are more of a rework than a straight-up nerf. Cloak & Dagger’s changes should help them remain viable as a hybrid support option.

With the update dropping on March 14, 2025, players will soon be able to experience these changes firsthand. Keep an eye on how they affect the meta and get ready to adapt your strategies. And as always, stay tuned for more Marvel Rivals news and updates!
