Pamela Bach, Beloved Baywatch Star, Passes Away at 62
Sad news has come in from Hollywood—Pamela Bach, the actress best known for her roles in Baywatch and Knight Rider , has passed away at the age of 62. Bach, who was also the ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, was found at her home in the Hollywood Hills on March 5th. The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office has confirmed her passing, reporting that she died by suicide.
Pamela Bach first rose to fame in the 1980s and 90s, making a name for herself with appearances in popular television series. She met David Hasselhoff while working alongside him on Knight Rider , and the two eventually married in 1989. Their relationship played out both on and off the screen, as she later starred with him in the globally popular lifeguard drama Baywatch . The couple had two daughters together before their marriage ended in 2006.
Hasselhoff shared a statement following her passing, expressing his family’s deep sorrow:

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bach had an extensive acting career that spanned decades. In addition to Baywatch and Knight Rider , she appeared in The Young and the Restless , Cheers , The Fall Guy , T.J. Hooker , Superboy , and Viper . She also participated in Celebrity Big Brother in the UK in 2011, where she shared the screen with Tara Reid and Kerry Katona.
Her daughter, Hayley Amber Hasselhoff, paid tribute by posting a nostalgic photo of her parents on Instagram, accompanied by a white star. In Pamela's last Instagram post, published on New Year's Eve, she spoke about her excitement for 2025, expressing joy over watching her granddaughter, London, grow. She wished for a year filled with "beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold."
Her sudden passing has left many shocked, including her representative, Sharon Kelly, who told TMZ:
"My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters, and her granddaughter, whom Pamela constantly gushed about and loved so dearly."
