Arthur White, David’s older brother, has had an impressive acting career of his own. At 91 years old, he has built a name for himself with roles across various British TV dramas. In fact, he even appeared alongside his younger brother in A Touch of Frost , playing PC Ernie Trigg, a character that made multiple appearances in the series. That wasn’t the only time the brothers acted together—Arthur also had a role in The Darling Buds of May back in 1991.

Arthur’s acting resume is nothing short of extensive. Over the years, he has been part of several well-loved television shows, including Goodnight Sweetheart , where he appeared in 1996 alongside Nicholas Lyndhurst—who, as fans will remember, played Rodney Trotter in Only Fools and Horses . His work didn’t stop with traditional television dramas. More recently, Arthur lent his voice and experience to 13 Hours That Saved Britain , a documentary exploring the historic events of the Battle of Britain. Having lived through World War II and the Blitz, he shared his firsthand experiences of what life was like in London during those perilous times.
