TCU Women's Basketball Makes History with First Elite Eight Appearance

Just a couple of seasons ago, this same team was struggling with an 8-23 record. Last year, under the leadership of head coach Mark Campbell, the program was in rebuild mode, even holding open tryouts to fill roster spots. Now, fast forward to this incredible 2024-25 season—TCU has shattered records, racking up 33 wins, clinching the regular-season championship, winning the Big 12 Tournament, and earning their highest-ever No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
For the Horned Frogs, their journey in March Madness had previously never gone past the second round, with their last tournament appearance dating back to 2010. That all changed this year. Their first-ever Sweet 16 appearance was a milestone in itself, but advancing to the Elite Eight is something truly special for the program and its fans.

After transferring from LSU, she has led by example, putting up dominant performances throughout the season and earning accolades like Big 12 Player of the Year, Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, and First-Team All-Big 12 honors.
