Toronto Police Hunt for Two Suspects in Scarborough Robbery Spree
Toronto police are on the lookout for two suspects involved in a series of retail robberies across the city, particularly in Scarborough and North York. The authorities have released photos of the individuals in hopes of identifying them.
The incidents date back to August 2024, when a female suspect allegedly carried out multiple armed robberies at various retail locations. The first reported crime occurred on August 14 at around 1:15 a.m. near Pharmacy Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East. The suspect, masked to conceal her identity, reportedly entered a store, brandished a knife, and demanded cash and vape products before fleeing the scene.

Just two days later, on August 16, a similar crime was reported at another store near Progress Avenue and Markham Road. Again, a masked female suspect allegedly threatened the store employees with a weapon and took off with cash and cigarettes.
The pattern continued on August 20 at around 4:30 p.m. when another robbery was reported near Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue East. The suspect, again masked, is said to have indicated that she was armed before demanding money and escaping.
However, on August 21, the crime took a new turn. This time, a male suspect was involved alongside the female suspect. Around 12:45 p.m., the duo allegedly entered a store near Progress Avenue and Brimley Road, both masked and ready to strike. The male suspect reportedly indicated he was armed and demanded cash, but the store employee managed to lock themselves in a secure room, forcing the suspects to flee empty-handed.
Police have since described the female suspect as being around 5 feet 5 inches tall, between 20 and 30 years old, with a medium build. The male suspect is described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, also between 20 and 30 years old, with a slim build.
Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward as they continue their efforts to track down the suspects and ensure public safety.
