Parklife 2025 Set to Electrify Manchester with Music, Mayhem and 50 Cent
So, here we are again—Manchester's Heaton Park is about to explode with energy, colour, and pure musical adrenaline. Yes, I’m talking about Parklife 2025 , the city's biggest music festival, returning this weekend and promising another unforgettable two-day celebration. If you're a music lover, this is the place to be.
Tens of thousands—around 80,000 people, to be precise—are expected to pour into Heaton Park across Saturday and Sunday. The line-up this year is stacked, with none other than 50 Cent headlining Saturday night. It's his big return to the Parklife stage since 2022, and if his past performance is anything to go by, we’re in for something explosive. Then on Sunday, the wildly dynamic Charli XCX takes over as the headliner, bringing her signature style and electric energy to close out the weekend.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The stages will also host performances by R&B powerhouse Jorja Smith , the festival debut of rising star Lola Young , global DJ sensation Peggy Gou , and the unstoppable force that is Rudimental . In total, more than 100 artists will bring their sounds across eight different stages.
Getting in? Gates open at noon on Saturday and from 1PM on Sunday, with last entry at 5PM both days. No under-17s allowed unless they’re with a responsible adult aged 18 or older. Tickets? They’re still up for grabs—day passes, weekend passes, even VIP options if you're feeling fancy.
Travel-wise, this year is a bit different. No trams from Manchester Piccadilly, so you’ll want to head to Manchester Victoria for the Bury line which stops right at Heaton Park—conveniently near the West Gate. Services will be running every six minutes. And remember—no on-street parking, so if you're driving, book your parking space on Sheepfoot Lane ahead of time.
For those coming from outside the city, the Big Green Coach service has you covered, offering official transport straight to the event. And for locals, Transport for Greater Manchester is offering a handy £8 travel pass for trams and shuttles—£14.95 if you're going both days. Shuttle buses will start running late morning and continue until the park clears out at night.
As if planning your journey wasn't enough, don’t forget the weather alert. Saturday’s forecast includes a yellow warning for thunderstorms, with strong winds and downpours expected any time between midnight and 6PM. So, come prepared—ponchos, waterproof boots, maybe even some patience.
And lastly, due to high footfall, expect long queues and a bustling Manchester Piccadilly station. The station will close overnight after the last train departs, so make sure you know your way home.
All in all, Parklife 2025 is shaping up to be one wild, musical, weather-watching ride. Whether you're going for the beats, the vibe, or the Instagram moments, this is your chance to be part of one of the UK's most iconic music events. Stay safe, plan ahead, and enjoy the rhythm of Manchester’s biggest weekend.
