FIFA World Cup 2026 VIP Tickets in Toronto Start at a Whopping $2,500
Let’s talk about something that’s getting a lot of buzz right now — the FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket prices in Toronto. If you're a soccer fan and you’re hoping to catch some live World Cup action when the tournament hits our city, you might want to brace yourself — especially if you’re eyeing the VIP experience.
So here's the deal: Toronto is one of the 16 host cities for the 2026 World Cup, which will be spread across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. And Toronto is set to host six matches at BMO Field — temporarily renamed “Toronto Stadium” for the event — including Canada’s opening game on June 12, 2026. This is going to be a historic event, the first time the tournament is hosted by three countries and the first time it’s back in North America since 1994.

But now to the hot topic — ticket prices. The VIP tickets for Toronto matches are already up for grabs through On Location, FIFA’s official hospitality partner. And guess what? They start at $2,500 CAD. Yep, per seat . And that’s just the starting point — the price goes up depending on the level of luxury and services you choose. These hospitality packages aren’t just about the seat; they come with upscale perks like gourmet food, premium lounge access, entertainment options, and even faster venue entry.
Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow was asked about the steep pricing and didn’t sugarcoat it. She simply said, “That’s steep. Very steep.” But she was also quick to point out that the City has no control over these prices — it’s FIFA calling the shots.
For those not planning to go VIP, there’s still hope. FIFA will hold a general ticket draw starting September 10, 2025. Fans can pre-register on FIFA’s website, but you’ll need a FIFA ID to take part. Canada Soccer is also planning to open ticket access through their CanadaRed program, with different membership tiers increasing your chances in the draw. That too could cost — membership levels reportedly go up to $5,000.
While the ticket prices are creating some sticker shock, FIFA is planning to host fan events and viewing parties in public spaces around Toronto, so everyone can still be part of the action. It’s all shaping up to be a monumental moment for the sport — but clearly, it comes at a premium if you want the best seat in the house.
So whether you’re going VIP or hoping for a standard ticket through the lottery, the race for a spot at the world’s biggest sporting event is officially on.
