Milan Eyes Young Talent Giovanni Leoni in Summer Defensive Shake-Up

A move to Como has been proposed for €25 million, though the player is hesitating, reportedly waiting for potential interest from a Champions League-caliber team. Should that domino fall, Milan is ready to make their approach to Parma official. But they’re not putting all their chips on Leoni just yet.
In the background, Milan is also keeping a close eye on Pietro Comuzzo of Fiorentina. Comuzzo, a 2005-born defender with a contract until 2029, would command a fee of at least €30–40 million. Napoli already tried to secure him in January with a €35 million offer, which Fiorentina declined. Clearly, they consider him untouchable unless a major proposal arrives.
This dual-track approach—Leoni as the primary target and Comuzzo as the backup—shows Milan’s commitment to rejuvenating their defensive line with young, high-ceiling talent. However, with budget constraints and other clubs circling, timing and precision will be everything.
