WWE Evolution 2025 was nothing short of electric. If you missed it, you missed a seismic shift in the women’s division that fans are still buzzing about. The historic night at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena delivered everything — nostalgia, brutality, athleticism, and a jaw-dropping ending that no one saw coming.

Let’s talk about the main event — Iyo Sky defending her Women’s World Championship against the powerhouse Rhea Ripley. From the first bell, this match felt special. Both women started fast, trading strikes and showing genuine respect mid-battle, which only added to the suspense. Sky dazzled with her aerial offense, including a stunning moonsault outside the ring, but Ripley’s brute strength turned the tide. She hurled Sky onto the announcer’s table, then slammed her into the barricade — it was wild.

Despite the punishment, Sky kept rising. Ripley tried submissions, a brutal Razor’s Edge, even her signature Riptide, but Sky refused to stay down. The crowd was losing their minds. At one point, a misfire led to the referee getting knocked out — and that’s when chaos truly erupted.

Ripley hit another Riptide, but with no ref, there was no count. Frustrated, she took it into the crowd, using chairs, railings — anything in reach. But Sky wasn’t done. In the spot of the night, she scaled equipment and launched a high-flying attack that sent Ripley crashing. Just when it looked like Sky would retain, something shocking happened.

Naomi’s music hit. Ms. Money in the Bank made her entrance, briefcase in hand. She cashed in — and it instantly became a triple threat. Naomi struck Sky with the briefcase, tossed Ripley out of the ring, hit her finisher, and pinned Sky. Just like that, Naomi was the new Women’s World Champion.

Talk about stealing the show.

But Naomi wasn’t done making waves. Earlier in the night, she went to war with Jade Cargill in a no-holds-barred match. It was brutal — weapons everywhere, including kendo sticks, steel chains, even a camera. Naomi nearly had it, but Cargill pulled off a top-rope Jaded that ended the match in a flash. That loss felt like the end of Naomi’s night — but little did we know, it was just the setup for her incredible cash-in later on.

Elsewhere on the card, veterans and new stars lit up the night. Trish Stratus gave one of her final classics in a losing effort to Tiffany Stratton, who retained the Women’s Championship. Becky Lynch survived a three-way thriller to keep the Intercontinental title, while Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez held onto the Women’s Tag Team Championships in a wild four-way tag match. NXT champ Jacy Jayne pulled off a controversial win over Jordynne Grace, thanks to outside interference from Blake Monroe, setting up what could be a vicious feud.

And don’t sleep on the battle royal. “La Primera” Stephanie Vaquer earned her shot at a title in Paris after eliminating Lash Legend in a stunning final sequence. The match had everything from handstand saves to surprise eliminations, and Vaquer proved she’s more than ready for the main stage.

But no moment topped Naomi’s. From being beaten down in a hardcore match to ending the night as champion, she reminded everyone that the Money in the Bank briefcase can change lives in an instant. WWE Evolution 2025 wasn’t just a celebration — it was a revolution. And Naomi now leads that charge.
