Tragic Collision Claims Elderly Woman’s Life on Route 235 in Ange-Gardien

According to official reports from the Sûreté du Québec, a northbound heavy truck collided first with a vehicle coming from Rang Casimir before crashing into a second car traveling south on Route 235. In that second vehicle was the elderly woman—an octogenarian—who sustained critical injuries. Emergency responders arrived swiftly and transported her to the hospital, but unfortunately, she was later pronounced dead.

The force of the collision also left three others injured. One person sustained more serious injuries but is expected to survive. Among the injured were passengers from both affected vehicles.
