Anaïs Gallagher on Surviving Oasis Reunion Marathon
Anaïs Gallagher, daughter of Noel Gallagher and niece of Liam, has been living a whirlwind summer that most fans could only dream of. She’s managed to follow Oasis on the road, watching twelve shows back-to-back, and has admitted that even though it left her “knackered,” she couldn’t get enough of it. Speaking on BBC Radio Manchester, Anaïs shared how surreal it felt to see her dad and uncle perform night after night with the same fire and energy that made Oasis legendary in the first place.
The reunion tour kicked off in Cardiff before rolling through Manchester, Wembley Stadium in London, Edinburgh, and even two sold-out nights at Dublin’s Croke Park. Anaïs was there for it all, and she described the shows as so electrifying that boredom simply isn’t an option. When friends asked if twelve consecutive gigs weren’t too much, she laughed it off, insisting the shows are just too good to ever get old. Still, she admitted she needed to pause after the twelfth gig, joking that she didn’t know how Noel and Liam managed to keep that pace while actually performing on stage.

Beyond just being a spectator, Anaïs has taken on her own role in keeping the Oasis spirit alive. She’s been presenting Mad for Oasis on BBC Sounds, a series that dives into the band’s enduring legacy through the eyes of fans. Offstage, she confessed she feels like the unofficial host whenever she’s at gigs, making sure everyone’s seated, drinks are in hand, and friends know what to expect. That side of things, she admitted, can be draining for an “extraverted introvert” like herself, but she still embraces it wholeheartedly.
One of her favorite traditions has been preparing her friends for the moment Liam gets the crowd doing Manchester City’s famous Poznan celebration. For Anaïs, it’s a highlight every time, though her friends are often baffled until they’re suddenly caught up in it. She laughed about warning them to put their drinks down, even when they didn’t quite understand why.
Not everything has been smooth sailing, though. Since the Oasis reunion was announced, Anaïs has faced a wave of requests from desperate fans trying to score tickets. In one now-deleted TikTok, she joked that she had nothing to do with Ticketmaster and couldn’t help anyone. She’s also spoken out strongly against the ageism and misogyny she’s seen online, especially from critics suggesting younger fans just wanted to hear “Wonderwall.” For Anaïs, Oasis’ music is for everyone, and gatekeeping has no place in it.
Amusingly, even she was blindsided by the reunion news. Blossoms frontman Tom Ogden revealed that Anaïs was staying at his house when the rumors first started spreading—and she had to text around frantically to find out if it was true, getting no answers at all.
Now that Oasis have taken the reunion tour across the Atlantic, kicking things off in Toronto, Anaïs has stepped back from attending every single show, but her enthusiasm hasn’t dimmed. For her, the magic of Oasis is not just about nostalgia, but about the energy and connection the band still creates—something she insists she’ll never tire of.
