According to police reports, officers were called to the Burton Lane area following reports of a shooting, and when they arrived, they found Carroll suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Regional One Health in Memphis, where life-saving measures were attempted, but sadly, he could not be saved. One man has been taken into custody and charged with his murder, though authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

He also appeared on television shows like Showtime at the Apollo in 2000, filmed at Harlem’s legendary Apollo Theater, and The Parkers , a spinoff of Moesha , where he performed alongside Mo’Nique and Countess Vaughn. In 2022, he starred in the TV movie Rent & Go , showing that his talent stretched beyond stand-up.
