Desert Diamond Arena Unveils $42 Million Renovation Just in Time for Chris Stapleton Concerts

Hey, have you heard about the big news with Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale? They’ve just wrapped up a massive $42 million renovation, and it’s pretty exciting—especially if you’re planning to catch a show there soon. This isn’t just a simple facelift; the arena, which is now 22 years old, has undergone a serious transformation that’s going to change the whole experience for visitors.

So, what exactly has been done? Well, over 20 different spaces around the arena have been redesigned and upgraded. Both the main and upper concourses have been refreshed, with the Marketplace, new bars, and concessions completely redone and repainted to give everything a fresh, modern look. The two suite levels didn’t get left out either—the regular suite level has been updated, and the upper suite level now features two standout new spots: the Encore Club on Three and The View Lounge Bar.

The general manager, Dale Adams, mentioned in an interview that the whole renovation was intended to turn the arena into more of a “mecca” for music lovers, offering a premium and immersive experience that really puts the focus on the music. And they’ve definitely delivered on that promise with some new premium spaces designed to make concerts and events feel even more special.

For example, the Encore Club on Three has these cool Theater Boxes that seat 9 to 12 people, giving groups a private and comfortable spot to enjoy the show. Then there’s Studio 623, which is a reimagined area with 14 Loge Boxes designed to look like recording studio booths. These are perfect for smaller groups of 4 to 6 people and are located right off the main concourse.

If you’re more into hanging out and socializing, The View Lounge Bar offers laidback luxury seating on the third-floor club level—it’s a relaxed spot, although food and drinks aren’t included there. And if you want that VIP treatment, the Bassline Bar is the place to be. It’s a VIP lounge with a private entrance, opens an hour before doors and stays open an hour after the show ends. You can even buy premium ticket upgrades on the day of the event to access this area. Plus, the Bassline Bar can be used as a private event space, which adds even more versatility.

Another cool upgrade is the new ‘seamless’ entry system with Evolve Magnetometers. This means fans won’t have to empty their pockets or deal with fumbling around at security anymore. You just walk right through unless something sets off the detector, making the whole entrance process much faster and easier.

And the timing couldn’t be better because the renovated arena will officially reveal all these new features to the public starting August 8th, right when Chris Stapleton kicks off two concerts for his 'All-American Road Show' tour. If you’re heading to those shows, you’re definitely in for an upgraded, next-level experience.

All in all, this renovation really positions Desert Diamond Arena as a top-notch venue for live music and events. It’s fresh, it’s modern, and it’s ready to welcome guests with a whole new vibe. Whether you’re there for the music or just to hang out, it looks like the arena’s got something for everyone now.
