Irfan Khan led the scoring for Pakistan with 42 runs, while Abdul Samad contributed 26 and Mohammad Wasim added 23 runs. Yasir Khan and Mehran Mumtaz chipped in with 18 and 10 runs respectively, but the rest of the lineup struggled to reach double figures.

Sompal Kami stood out, taking three crucial wickets on his own, supported by Nandan Yadav and Dipendra Singh Airee who claimed two wickets each.
