Seth Rogen Calls Out Jax Taylor as Drama Unfolds
Seth Rogen, known for his sharp wit and unfiltered takes, has made headlines again — but this time, it’s not about comedy, movies, or his enviable double-breasted suits. Instead, he’s taking direct aim at reality TV personality Jax Taylor, calling him a “bad person” during an interview where he discussed Taylor’s dramatic departure from Bravo’s The Valley .

Jax Taylor, once a mainstay on Vanderpump Rules before joining The Valley in 2024, recently announced he would be stepping away from the show. In a heartfelt statement, Taylor said the decision came after a challenging year and “many honest conversations” with producers. He explained that his focus now needs to be on sobriety, mental health, and co-parenting his son, Cruz. While some of his castmates were blindsided, Rogen, a devoted Bravo superfan, seemed anything but shocked.
In his remarks, Rogen didn’t mince words. He said he didn’t think Taylor should return, describing him as someone who has been problematic for decades on television without showing signs of change — if anything, getting worse over time. Rogen pointed to the Season 2 reunion of The Valley as a breaking point for his opinion, recalling that Taylor’s behavior there convinced him the reality star was, in his words, “a very bad, bad, bad character.”
Taylor’s exit from the show isn’t his only big life change. Just days earlier, he revealed he was ending his partnership with his sports bar, formerly called “Jax’s.” Photos even surfaced of workers removing the sign. Taylor admitted the choice was difficult but said it aligned with his commitment to focus on personal well-being and a healthier life path.
Meanwhile, Taylor is in the middle of a messy divorce from Brittany Cartwright, his estranged wife and fellow Bravo personality. Cartwright has spoken openly about the difficulties she’s faced, particularly as the couple navigates raising their son, who has been diagnosed with autism. She revealed that Taylor refused to leave their home for seven months, even after she offered him a rental property she was paying for, forcing her and Cruz to move multiple times — something she says she will never forgive.
As for The Valley , the future is uncertain. Producers are reportedly considering shakeups for Season 3, possibly bringing in other Vanderpump Rules alumni to keep the show fresh. One thing is certain: Jax Taylor won’t be part of the cast. And if Seth Rogen’s blunt commentary is any indication, some viewers — and at least one famous one — won’t be missing him.
