Belly’s Choice inThe Summer I Turned PrettyFinale
The series finale of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 has left fans with a lot of emotions to process. After seasons of love triangles, heartbreak, and soul-searching, Belly’s story finally reached a point of clarity. And of course, it all played out in the most romantic of settings — Paris.
The final chapter begins with Conrad surprising Belly outside her Paris apartment. At first, she isn’t exactly thrilled to see him. After all, it’s been over a year since they really faced each other, and in that time, Belly has built a new life abroad. Still, she agrees to show him around the city before his train to Brussels. That decision sets the stage for a day of wandering through Paris, sharing quiet confessions, and breaking through the awkwardness that’s been standing between them.

As the day unfolds, Belly makes it clear that Paris has changed her. She feels she’s found herself there, and Conrad listens with nothing but encouragement. But little by little, the tension between them grows undeniable. He notices photos of Benito, her Parisian boyfriend, and wonders if Belly’s heart is already spoken for. Yet during her birthday dinner with friends, it becomes clear that things with Benito are over, and the door for Conrad might not be closed after all.
From there, the reunion we’ve all been waiting for takes shape. Belly and Conrad walk the streets at night, share memories, and finally face their feelings head-on. Under the glow of the Seine, they dance and kiss, echoing the prom night that once ended so badly. For the first time in a long time, it feels like they’re choosing each other without hesitation.
But the moment isn’t simple. Belly admits she still isn’t sure if their love was born out of real choice or the pressure of Susannah’s dream for them. Conrad insists his feelings are his own — that no matter how many times he might meet her, in any universe, he’d still fall for her. Even so, Belly hesitates, and Conrad prepares to leave.
It’s on the early train to Brussels that Belly makes her final stand. She wears the infinity necklace he once gave her and tells him: “I choose you of my own free will. In every world, it’s always you.” That declaration seals the story. The last scenes bring them home to Cousins, walking into the beach house hand-in-hand, a picture of the happily ever after fans hoped for.
Meanwhile, back in Boston and Cousins, the rest of the gang finds their own resolutions. Steven and Taylor finally commit to a future together, Denise and Jeremiah surprise everyone by exploring their spark, and even Adam offers Jeremiah the approval he’s long craved. By the time the credits roll, nearly everyone has found peace, love, or a fresh start.
With that, The Summer I Turned Pretty closes not just a season, but the whole series. And while the love triangle that defined the show is finally resolved, what remains is a story about choice, growth, and the beauty of finding yourself — even if it takes wandering all the way to Paris to get there.
