Bon Jovi Expands 2026 ‘Forever Tour’ After Six-Year Break
It’s official—Bon Jovi is back, and they’re coming in bigger than ever. After a six-year hiatus from touring, the legendary rock band has not only announced their much-awaited Forever Tour but has now expanded it with even more shows due to overwhelming fan demand. The comeback everyone’s been waiting for is finally happening, and it’s clear the excitement is mutual—both from the band and the fans.
Jon Bon Jovi, now 63, has been candid about his long road to recovery following vocal cord surgery, which had once cast doubt on whether he’d ever perform live again. But in his words, that uncertainty has now turned into determination. “There is a lot of joy in this announcement,” he said, reflecting on the band’s return. “Joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together again. I’m deeply grateful for the patience everyone has shown while I took the time to get healthy and prepare for this. I’m ready and excited!”

Originally, Bon Jovi announced four nights at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden, but with tickets selling out almost instantly, two more shows have been added—on July 16 and July 19—bringing the total to six sold-out performances. Following their New York residency, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will cross the Atlantic for stadium shows in Edinburgh, Dublin, and London, wrapping up the summer with a grand performance at Wembley Stadium on September 4, 2026.
And for anyone wondering—no, this isn’t a farewell tour. Addressing the speculation directly, Jon said he doesn’t view this as the band’s final bow. Instead, it’s a celebration of resilience, gratitude, and the simple joy of being able to perform again. “I’m not doing this for the applause or the fame,” he explained. “It’s about feeling that resonance with the crowd one more time—and as long as that joy remains, we’ll keep going.”
Tickets for U.S. dates went on pre-sale earlier this week, with general sales starting October 31. Fans in the U.K. and Ireland can also secure early access by pre-ordering the band’s Forever (Legendary Edition) —an expanded album revisiting their 2024 release and featuring new collaborations with Bruce Springsteen, Avril Lavigne, and Robbie Williams, among others.
The Forever Tour marks a significant chapter in Bon Jovi’s 40-year legacy—a triumphant return after years of uncertainty. Jon’s optimism, matched by the fans’ unwavering support, shows that this comeback isn’t just about nostalgia; it’s about endurance, passion, and the music that continues to bring generations together. And judging by how quickly tickets are vanishing, one thing’s certain—Bon Jovi’s still got that magic.
