The reboot of Big Brother is being hosted by Mel Tracina, and fans can expect live evictions, public voting, and a full 24/7 live-stream experience. Free tickets are available for the live shows starting November 16, promising an energy-filled spectacle packed with cheering crowds and the unpredictable drama that Big Brother is known for.

For thrillseekers, the Steel Taipan coaster is a must-ride. It’s the first triple-launched coaster in the southern hemisphere, using a magnetic propulsion system to launch the train three times and reach heart-pounding speeds of over 100 km/h. Adding to the excitement, it features a world-first “Tailwhip” spinning seat, providing an adrenaline rush that’s unlike anything else in the region.

Dreamworld’s new King Claw ride, set to open in late 2025, will replace the old Claw ride with a swing that is 50% taller and promises an even more exhilarating experience. Families with young children are also well-catered for with Kenny & Belinda’s Dreamland, which launched in 2023 and features rides, shows, and meet-and-greets with beloved Australian characters like Bananas in Pyjamas and Humpty Dumpty.

A brand-new jungle-themed Rivertown zone opened in 2024, replacing Wigglesworld. Here, the Jungle Rush coaster offers a world-first “triple-switch” system that changes tracks and direction in seconds, creating surprise twists and turns through jungle caves. For a more relaxed pace, the Murrissippi Motors ride lets visitors cruise in restored vintage cars, exploring the jungle and spotting animatronic wildlife, all while enjoying a meal at Jane’s Rivertown Restaurant, which immerses guests in an authentic jungle setting.

Dreamworld isn’t just about rides; there are also attractive holiday packages that combine resort stays with theme park access. The Mercure Gold Coast Resort, for example, offers a five-night package with unlimited Dreamworld entry, bonus access to WhiteWater World and SkyPoint Observation Deck, and food and beverage credits—providing great value for families and visitors looking for an all-inclusive experience.

With so many new attractions, the return of Big Brother, and exciting holiday packages, Dreamworld has once again positioned itself as a must-visit destination on the Gold Coast. Whether you’re chasing thrills or family fun, this updated park promises unforgettable experiences for everyone.
