Chaos Erupts on SmackDown as Uncle Howdy Strikes Solo Sikoa
Tonight’s SmackDown delivered one of those episodes where every segment felt like it was building toward something bigger, and by the end of the night, everything completely exploded—literally in darkness—when Uncle Howdy showed up. So let me walk you through what unfolded because this show was packed from start to finish.
The night kicked off with high stakes in the Last Time is Now Tournament, where Jey Uso battled Rusev. Jey’s entrance alone felt like a statement, walking through the crowd with all the confidence in the world. The match was intense right from the bell, with Rusev trying to overwhelm him early. But Jey survived a Machka Kick, broke out of the Accolade by grabbing the ropes, and then used that Spear-into-Uso Splash combination to get the win. With that, he moved a step closer to being John Cena’s final opponent.

Not long after, chaos entered the women’s division. Chelsea Green tried to hold a glamorous celebration for her Women’s United States Championship win, complete with pyro. But before she could get too carried away, Jade Cargill marched down and absolutely flattened both Green and Alba Fyre with Jaded. The message was sent loud and clear—Jade wasn’t playing around, and anyone running their mouth would get dealt with.
Then we rolled into LA Knight versus The Miz—another tournament match with Cena’s final bout on the line. Miz did everything Miz usually does: raked the eyes, used the ropes for leverage, complained to the referee. But once the official caught him cheating, Knight capitalized with the BFT. And just like that, Knight advanced to the semifinals, setting up a clash with Jey Uso.
Charlotte Flair and Asuka followed with a match that was all about gaining the WarGames advantage. Asuka tried to use her trademark mist at ringside, but Charlotte dodged at the last second, and the mist went flying into the timekeeper’s face instead. After surviving the Asuka Lock, Charlotte hit Natural Selection and secured the advantage for her team heading into Survivor Series.
But the main event was where things truly boiled over. Solo Sikoa led The MFTs into a ten-man Survivor Series Elimination Match against Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, the Motor City Machine Guns, and Rey Fenix. One by one, eliminations came fast—high-risk moves, distractions, brutal chokeslams on the apron—you name it, this match had it. Eventually, Sami Zayn found himself fighting alone. He eliminated Tama Tonga and outsmarted Talla Tonga, but Solo Sikoa’s Samoan Spike ended Sami’s comeback and secured Solo as the sole survivor.
And then everything changed.
The lights dropped. The crowd lit up with fireflies. When the lights returned, The Wyatt Sicks stood on the apron, staring at Solo. That moment of distraction opened the door for Uncle Howdy to appear behind him. Solo turned, but it was too late—Sister Abigail was delivered, leaving him laid out as the show came to a chilling end.
SmackDown didn’t just set the tone for Survivor Series tonight—it detonated it.
