CSUN Women's Basketball Dominates Bethesda in Historic Opener

Rita Nazario contributed 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting, while Maya Contreras notched the first double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Morgan Edwards added 11 points and two steals, and Amya Moody chipped in with seven points, seven rebounds, and five assists. In her debut, Jite Gbemuotor grabbed a team-high 16 rebounds, making an immediate impact on the court.
CSUN’s defense was particularly impressive. They forced nine turnovers in the first quarter alone, setting the tone early.
