In a highly anticipated announcement, Deftones, the Grammy Award-winning band from Sacramento, have revealed they will be heading to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 for their first tour down under in almost a decade. Known for their unique blend of raw energy and cinematic depth, Deftones have earned a fiercely loyal following in the alternative rock scene, and fans in both countries are in for a treat this May.

The tour kicks off in Sydney with two shows at the Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, May 2nd, and Sunday, May 3rd. From there, the band will move on to Brisbane, where they will perform at the Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, May 6th. The next stop is Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena for two nights, Saturday, May 9th and Sunday, May 10th. The final leg of the tour will bring Deftones to Auckland, New Zealand, for a show at Spark Arena on Wednesday, May 13th.

Fans can secure their tickets starting at 2pm (local time) on Friday, November 21st. For those eager to grab their tickets early, presale opportunities will be available. Mastercard cardholders in Australia can access presale tickets from 1pm on Tuesday, November 18th, while Westpac NZ customers can begin their presale on the same day. Additionally, Live Nation members will have exclusive presale access starting Thursday, November 20th at 1pm.

Throughout the tour, Deftones will be joined by special guests Interpol and Ecca Vandal, adding even more excitement to this long-awaited return to the stage.
