Exciting news has just arrived from London’s West End: the full cast for the world premiere of High Noon has been officially announced, and it promises to be a theatrical event you won’t want to miss. The play, adapted from the iconic 1952 Oscar-winning film of the same name, will see the stage debut of Eric Roth, the Academy Award-winning writer behind Forrest Gump . Roth’s adaptation brings the classic Western to life in a thrilling live setting, under the direction of Olivier Award winner Thea Sharrock, known for her work on The Bodyguard .
At the heart of this gripping story are the characters Will Kane and Amy Fowler, whose love is tested against impossible odds as the notorious outlaw Frank Miller returns on the high noon train. Leading the cast, Emmy and Tony Award winner Billy Crudup will take on the role of Will Kane, while Olivier Award-winning Denise Gough will portray Amy Fowler. Both actors are renowned for their incredible stage presence and emotional depth, and their collaboration promises to bring an electrifying intensity to the Harold Pinter Theatre stage.
