Heidi Klum Transforms Into Medusa at Her 2025 Halloween Extravaganza
It’s official — Halloween 2025 once again belonged to Heidi Klum. Every year, the supermodel and television star proves she’s the undisputed Queen of Halloween, and this time, she went all out by turning herself into the mythical Gorgon, Medusa . The transformation was jaw-dropping, as Klum made her grand entrance at her 24th annual Halloween bash in New York City dressed in vivid green scales, complete with a headpiece of moving snakes, fangs, and even a slithering forked tongue.
As she arrived at The Venue inside the Hard Rock Hotel, fans and photographers couldn’t stop staring — though hopefully not long enough to be turned to stone. Heidi playfully posed for the cameras, sticking her tongue out and wielding a bow and arrow aimed at her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz , who played along perfectly as a stone knight caught in Medusa’s deadly gaze. The couple’s perfectly coordinated look quickly became the talk of the night.
This year’s costume, designed once again with Oscar-nominated makeup artist Mike Marino , required a massive team of more than 30 people to bring it to life. Klum had been teasing fans on social media for days, dropping mysterious hints and behind-the-scenes peeks of prosthetics and fangs being applied. She’d even warned her followers, saying her costume would be “very ugly” — though fans might argue it was more “terrifyingly stunning” than anything else.

Heidi’s Halloween parties have become a major cultural moment, attracting A-list celebrities from Hollywood and beyond. Co-sponsored this year by Butterfinger and Huluween on Disney+, the star-studded event saw some of the biggest names in entertainment step out in creative, funny, and downright eerie costumes. Demi Lovato revived her viral meme character “Poot Lovato,” while Megan Thee Stallion stunned anime fans as Choso from Jujutsu Kaisen . Elsewhere, Ice-T and Coco Austin arrived as horror icons, YouTuber James Charles carried his own severed head, and Olympian Ilona Maher turned heads as a real-life Barbie.
But no matter how wild the other costumes got, all eyes were inevitably on Heidi. Over the years, she’s built her Halloween reputation with unforgettable looks — from a realistic worm to a full-on peacock, from Fiona in Shrek to the lovable alien E.T. This time, her mythological transformation might have just set a new bar for creativity.
Reflecting on her Halloween legacy, Klum once said she loses sleep every year trying to outdo herself — and judging by this year’s Medusa masterpiece, those sleepless nights have definitely paid off. Once again, Heidi Klum has proven why Halloween just isn’t Halloween without her.
