Rock & Roll Night Shakes Up ‘Dancing With the Stars’ with Drama, Triumph, and One Perfect Score
It was an electric evening on Dancing With the Stars as Season 34’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night delivered a mix of high energy, emotional moments, and one heartbreaking goodbye. The ballroom pulsed with rock anthems and fierce competition as the remaining celebrities brought their best moves to the floor, marking one of the most exciting nights of the season.
Tuesday’s episode opened with hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough announcing that the top couple of the night would win immunity from next week’s relay dances and earn bonus points toward the upcoming 20th Birthday Party celebration episode. With stakes this high, every performance mattered — and the stars didn’t disappoint.

The standout moment came when Whitney Leavitt and her partner Mark Ballas earned an incredible 39 out of 40, tying with social media star Alix Earle and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy. However, the tie was broken in Leavitt’s favor, as her overall season score placed her just ahead — granting her immunity for next week. Leavitt, best known from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives , has consistently impressed both the judges and audience with her precision and charisma.
The night also featured a strong comeback from actress Elaine Hendrix, who returned to the dance floor after missing the Halloween episode due to injury. She performed a graceful Viennese waltz to “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” scoring 37 out of 40. Hendrix shared that she felt “solid, strong, and grateful” to be back, earning warm applause from the audience.
Meanwhile, the group dance segment returned with a bang. Team Chicago, led by Ribeiro, wowed the judges with their synchronized moves and energy, earning the season’s first perfect 40 out of 40. Team Kool, coached by Hough, wasn’t far behind with a strong 38 out of 40.
Unfortunately, the night ended on a somber note as Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel and her partner Pasha Pashkov were eliminated after scoring 34 out of 40. The decision left fans emotional, as Fishel had been a steady and heartfelt performer throughout the competition.
As the show moves into its final weeks — with only three episodes left before the big finale on November 25 — the competition is tighter than ever. With stars like Leavitt, Earle, Hendrix, Jordan Chiles, Robert Irwin, Dylan Efron, and Andy Richter still in the running, it’s anyone’s game.
Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars continues to air live on ABC and stream on Disney+, with episodes available the following day on Hulu. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night proved once again that this long-running series still knows how to rock the ballroom.
