Bears Pull Off a Miracle Comeback to Stun Packers and Take Control of NFC North
If you watched Bears vs. Packers on Saturday night, it probably felt like nothing special was happening for most of the game. In fact, for nearly 58 minutes, it looked like the Chicago Bears were being completely outplayed at home. The offense was struggling, touchdowns were nowhere to be found, and the Green Bay Packers seemed firmly in control. The kick was mishandled by Packers receiver Romeo Doubs, and the Bears suddenly had life. From there, rookie quarterback Caleb Williams led a desperate drive down the field. On a do-or-die fourth down with just 24 seconds left, Williams delivered a perfect touchdown throw to Jahdae Walker to tie the game. Soldier Field erupted, and overtime was forced.
