Thai police say the 58-year-old British national was found outside a luxury condominium on the 17th floor of an 18-story building and initial investigations point to suicide. His apartment was locked from the inside and there were no signs of forced entry or foul play. An autopsy confirmed no evidence of external interference.

Griffiths played a pivotal role in launching Asos in 2000, alongside Nick Robertson, Andrew Regan and Deborah Thorpe. Originally named “As Seen On Screen,” the company sold fashion inspired by film and television, eventually transforming into one of the world’s most influential online fashion marketplaces. At its peak, Asos’s valuation exceeded £6 billion and it became a staple of celebrity fashion, with designs worn by figures including Rihanna and Michelle Obama.
