Canada School Shooting Horror: 10 Dead in Remote Town Tragedy
A quiet mountain town in Canada has been shattered by one of the deadliest school shootings in the country’s recent history.
Authorities say at least 10 people are dead, including the suspected shooter, after gunfire erupted inside Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia. The violence began just after 1:20 in the afternoon, when police received reports of an active shooter and the school was placed into immediate lockdown. More than two dozen others were injured. At least two remain in critical condition, while many more are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. In a small community of roughly 2,400 people, nearly everyone knows someone affected. The school itself serves about 160 students from grades seven through twelve, making this loss deeply personal and profoundly devastating.
