GOP Senator Helps Police Drag Marine Veteran from Senate Hearing
Senator Tim Sheehy of Montana stepped into the middle of a tense confrontation on Capitol Hill and the footage has quickly captured national attention. Senator Sheehy left the dais and joined police in lifting and ejecting McGinnis. McGinnis was later taken to a hospital and claims his arm was broken in the process, while police reported injuries to three officers. McGinnis now faces multiple charges, including assaulting an officer and resisting arrest.
