Massive PlayStation Plus Leak Reveals Major Free Games Before Sony’s Official Announcement

A major leak has just pulled back the curtain on what could be one of the biggest PlayStation Plus lineups of the year and gamers around the world are paying very close attention.

Several titles expected to join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this month appear to have surfaced early, days before Sony’s official announcement. And if the information proves accurate, subscribers could soon gain access to a surprisingly strong mix of blockbuster action, role-playing adventures and fan-favorite classics.

The report comes from a well-known industry insider who has a long track record of accurately revealing upcoming PlayStation announcements. According to the leak, six major games are expected to arrive for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members.

Leading the list is Madden NFL 26, the latest installment in the long-running American football franchise released in 2025. For sports fans, this would mean access to the newest simulation of the NFL season without needing to purchase the game outright.

But the lineup does not stop there. Another major addition reportedly coming to the catalog is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, a fast-paced third-person shooter that earned strong reviews and quickly became one of the standout action games of 2024.

Role-playing fans could also have something big to celebrate. Persona 5 Royal is rumored to be part of the lineup as well. This expanded version of the critically acclaimed RPG includes new characters, additional story content, extra music and an entirely new semester of gameplay. For many players who missed it the first time, this could be the perfect opportunity to experience one of the most celebrated modern RPGs.

The leak also suggests several other titles will join the catalog, including Metal Eden, the survival adventure The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria and the exploration sandbox game Astroneer.

And for players who subscribe to the Premium tier, there may also be a nostalgic bonus. A classic PSP fighting game, Tekken Dark Resurrection, is reportedly being added to the Classics Catalog, giving longtime fans another reason to revisit the series.

If these details are correct, the games are expected to arrive around March 17. Sony is widely expected to reveal the official lineup very soon, which will confirm whether the leak matches the final announcement.

For PlayStation players, this matters because the Game Catalog has become a major part of the subscription experience. Instead of buying every new title, members can access a rotating library of games as long as they remain subscribed.

And when big names appear in the catalog, it often sparks renewed interest in older hits and recently released titles alike.

The big question now is simple. Will Sony confirm this lineup, or are there still surprises waiting in the official reveal?

Stay with us for the latest updates as the announcement approaches and continue watching for more breaking stories from across the gaming world.
