Cher Seeks Conservatorship for Son Elijah Blue Allman Amid Legal and Health Crisis

In her petition, Cher is asking the court to appoint a private fiduciary to manage her son’s finances. Court documents further state that Allman’s estate is relatively modest in size, with most of his income tied to a trust fund established by his late father, musician Gregg Allman. A similar conservatorship request was made in 2023 but was later withdrawn after Allman objected and indicated he would seek help and change his circumstances. However, the latest filing claims those commitments were not sustained and that his condition has since worsened.
