Former Teacher Charged in Upskirting Case at Greater Manchester Schools
A major safeguarding investigation is sending shockwaves through Greater Manchester after a former supply teacher was charged with a series of serious offences involving school pupils. According to police, the man, a former supply teacher, was arrested after concerns were first raised by a parent who noticed an image of their child in school uniform circulating online. Investigators have identified 13 girls, aged between 13 and 16 at the time, from seven different high schools across Bury, Bolton and Salford. He is also facing allegations connected to online grooming and attempts to engage with a minor through digital communication. The suspect is currently in custody and is expected to appear before Bolton Crown Court later this month.
