Anouk Meunier Replaces Julie Belanger On TVA Show
A beloved television host is stepping down after thirteen years and a new face is set to take her place. Anouk Meunier will co-host "a finit bien la semaine," the popular Friday night talk show on TVA, beginning this fall. This marks a significant change for the program, which has been a staple for viewers looking to end their week with entertainment and conversation.
Meunier is no stranger to television audiences in Canada. She will be taking over from Julie Belanger, who announced her departure earlier this spring after a long and successful run. Belanger's exit after thirteen years leaves a void that TVA is confident Meunier can fill. The announcement of Meunier's new role was made during the taping of another popular show, "Sucre Sale," on Monday evening.

The transition is set to happen with the upcoming fall television season. Meunier will be joining Jean-Michel Anctil, who has been co-hosting the show with Belanger. This new hosting duo will not only lead "a finit bien la semaine" but will also collaborate on other key TVA programs. They are scheduled to co-host "La rentree TVA" on Sunday, September sixth and "a commence bien l'annee" in January.
Executives at Groupe TVA expressed their confidence in Meunier's ability to connect with viewers. Nathalie Fabien, Director General of Linear and Digital Programming, stated that Meunier's extensive experience makes her the ideal successor. She believes Meunier's dynamism and sparkle will perfectly complement Jean-Michel Anctil's teasing personality, creating an instant on-screen chemistry.
Beyond her new hosting duties, Anouk Meunier will also be returning to her role as an investigator on "Chanteurs masques." Filming for that program is currently underway, indicating a busy schedule for the popular personality. This dual role highlights Meunier's versatility and her continued importance within the Quebec television landscape.
As the fall season approaches, viewers can anticipate a fresh dynamic on "a finit bien la semaine" with Anouk Meunier and Jean-Michel Anctil at the helm. The show aims to continue its tradition of providing a lighthearted and engaging end to the week for its dedicated audience. Stay with Mirror 7 News for all updates as they happen.
